Jackie grew up in Los Angeles, surrounded by the vibrant mix of cultures that defined her Asian-American upbringing. From her parents’ Indonesian and Chinese recipes to California’s diverse food scene, she developed a love for flavors that told a story. Her culinary path took her across the world from Paris to Italy and from Vietnam to Shanghai.
Now based in southern Germany, she found herself craving the warm, familiar taste of freshly baked cookies, the kind that filled her childhood with comfort in Los Angeles.
She began baking cookies in her own kitchen. What started as a way to ease her own homesickness quickly grew into something more. Neighbors, friends, and visitors couldn’t get enough of the cookies, and word began to spread!
